Here at GettyGear, I take pride in the construction of our products. Below are the details that make our items unique.
Why GettyGear is different:
I will make what YOU want.
Why GettyGear is different:
I will make what YOU want.
- I make all of GettyGear's products. I do not farm out work to friends, relatives or others to help me. This is so I can maintain quality control over our products.
- I typically use heavy duty polypropylene webbing. I can, and sometimes do, use nylon webbing. Why do I use heavy polypropylene? Polypropylene neither stretches like nylon nor absorbs water, so they will not rot or mildew.
- Hardware: I use heavy cast nickle plated hardware whenever possible. When cast hardware is not made in the larger size needed, I use welded hardware. This insures the lasting quality of your collar or leash.
- I either triple stitch or box stitch all of our stress points to insure a safe product.
- I do NOT use clear nylon thread. Clear nylon thread is weaker than polyester thread.
- I use quality materials and test the products before we place them on our website. When a tug requires stitching, it is sewn on an industrial machine with heavy duty polyester thread. No tug is impenetrable, but we try to make them last as long as possible!
